Mary Queen of Peace values the on-going formation of all parishioners, no matter their age. Understanding both the human desire for relationship and the ultimate end of that desire (God), there are a variety of Adult Faith Formation opportunities offered throughout the year. These opportunities provide practical spiritual formation, intellectual formation in the teachings of the Catholic faith, and a community striving together to live out our shared call of discipleship.
All men and women are made in the image and likeness of God and all share an inherent dignity as His beloved sons and daughters - and we are made for so much more than the world can ever offer us. Join us for this monthly speaker series to grow in your awareness of God's tremendous love for you. All talks begin at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. in the Lubeley Room, Wednesdays, August, 2024 through May, 2025. MADE FOR MORE FULL SCHEDULE
All women are invited to deepen their relationship with God and awareness of their inherent dignity and priceless worth as God's beloved daughters, created for mission and, like our Blessed Mother, called to love courageously. This is offered bi-monthly on Tuesdays in the Lubeley Room. Check the parish calendar and the bulletin for dates and times.
For 90 Days before Easter, all women are invited to deepen their relationship with God by growing in their faith and by practicing spiritual and corporal acts of mercy, in order to live their Feminine Genius for heroic, healing love. This offering compliments Men's Exodus 90 but the requirements are slightly different. This 90-Day challenge begins January 20, 2025 and ends at Easter, April 20, 2025. Exodus 90 is a spiritual exercise for men based on Christ's roadmap to freedom: prayer, asceticism, and fraternity. It is rooted in the traditions of the early Church. Following the Exodus lifestyle, a fraternity of 6-8 men commits to a set structure of prayer and ascetic disciplines. These men are led by daily readings from the books of Exodus and Joshua, paired with daily reflections to keep them on the road to freedom. For more information and to sign up: VISIT OUR PAGE
