Young Families Group 

The Mary Queen of Peace Young Families’ Ministry is an organization designed to bring together the
families of young children, ages birth to kindergarten. We sponsor activities throughout the year aimed
at strengthening young families’ social and spiritual connectedness to our parish and we welcome new
families to join at any time.

The Young Families Group organizes spiritual and social events for parents and young children throughout
the year. By signing up for the group you will receive email notices of a variety of events such as Stations
of the Cross for Children, Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, Popsicles on the Playground, Parents Night Out,
play-groups, and other great activities where you can meet and mingle with fellow young MQP families.

MQP Young Families Organizing Committee

This lively group of ladies meets on the 1st Tuesday each month at 8pm to plan the various events
sponsored by our group. We are always looking for new members. If you’d like a great opportunity to
connect with other MQP mothers of little ones, in an informal, small group setting, join us!

Meals for Moms

Meals for Moms is a meal ministry for people expecting a new baby. This has been done informally for awhile,
but the Young Families Group wants to make it official and make sure EVERY new family gets that little boost
of love and support when a new baby comes (including adoptive and foster babies). We are also looking for
volunteers to bring a meal to a family with a new person to love. To make or receive a meal, contact:
