Altar Society
The Altar Society or "Heavenly Dusters" help keep the Church clean and are responsible for the decoration and flowers that adorn our Church. Working under the Women's League, this group is also responsible for the environment of the Church during the special liturgical seasons.
Are you willing to help with Church cleaning tasks?
Cleaning tasks are separated into jobs that can be completed in 30 minutes or less. The good news is that the tasks can be completed at your convenience any day of the week, Monday-Saturday. Most of the tasks need to be completed weekly, but others only need to be done twice a month or monthly. Cleaning supplies are provided and Mary Black will contact/meet with you to review the particulars of your job. Your commitment is for one year. Next June, you will have the opportunity to recommit OR get off the schedule.
Are you willing to assume responsibility for a task to keep our church looking its best for our parish family and visitors? Can you organize a group of friends to share a job? We also need a ready pool of subs who can step in periodically and perform a cleaning task when a regular is unavailable. Please prayerfully consider if you are able to help out as a regular OR as a sub. The list of tasks and sign-up sheet can be accessed by clicking on Heavenly Duster Volunteers on the right. Keep in mind, the tasks can be completed when it's convenient for you! Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
Church Flowers
Several parishoners generously donate their time to create and maintain the beautiful flower arrangements you see on the altar each week. If you are interested in helping or if you would like to donate the cost of flowers for a week to commemorate a special anniversary date, please contact a member of the flower committee below.
