Lent at MQP

ASH WEDNESDAY
Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the penitential season of Lent. Masses will be celebrated and ashes will be distributed at 6:45 am, 8:00 am, 9:15 am (with our School community), and at 7:00 pm.

ADORATION
Why not start Lent by spending some time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament? Our 40 Hours Devotion will be this Thursday & Friday, March 2 & 3. Register here or just drop in when you can!

You are also encouraged to come to Eucharistic Adoration on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month from after 8 am Mass until Benediction at 9 pm. Adoration during Lent will be on March 6 & 20 and April 3.

RECONCILIATION
Every Saturday 3:45 - 4:45.
Mark your calendars for our Lenten Reconciliation Service on Monday, April 10, at 7 pm, and look for other opportunities for Confession during Lent.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
All are welcome to join the school for stations on Friday, March 10, 24 and 31st and April 7 (Living Stations) at 2:00 pm.

ROSARY
You can join a group for the rosary several times during the week (all year round):
Mondays, after 8:00 am Mass - Moms & kids
Tuesdays, 10:00 am - Rosary Grp at Kay Kromm’s (727 S Laclede Sta Rd.)
Thursdays, 9:00 under the Portico - all are welcome!
Saturdays, after 8:00 am Mass - Respect Life Rosary

WOMEN'S MORNING OF REFLECTION
All ladies are invited to join us March 25 for the Women's League Annual Morning of Reflection.  Parishioner and Ursuline Campus Minister Nikki Weston will lead our morning, themed "Come as You Are"  We begin with Mass at 8 am, followed by a continental breakfast in the Lubeley room.  The presentation begins at 9am and ends by 11am.  The event is free but space is limited.  Please call Patty Gibson to reserve your spot. 314-962-9377

WOMEN'S ACTS RETREAT
The women of our parish are also invited to the 2017 ACTS Retreat on March 30 – April 2.  Come rest in His arms for a weekend!

FAST & ABSTINENCE
Ash Wednesday (this Wednesday, March 1) & Good Friday(April 14) are days of fast and abstinence. Fasting isrequired of Catholics aged 18-59 and means having one full meal, two smaller meals, and nothing in between meals,though water & medicine are always permitted. Abstinence is abstaining from eating meat for all Catholics over the age of 14.All Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence from meat.
