Congratulations Ben Ridgway from MQP Troop #335 on earning the rank of Eagle Scout! This is the highest honor in Scouting and a true accomplishment as less than 4% of all Boy Scouts attain the rank of Eagle. Ben was a student at Mary, Queen of Peace and is currently a freshman at St. Louis University High School.

For his Eagle project, Ben led a group of Scouts to build three raised garden beds for L'Arche International in Maplewood, MO. L'Arche is a dynamic, faith-centered community of people with and without intellectual disabilities sharing homes and life together. Ben also led the team in laying a flagstone pathway between the beds, filling the beds with topsoil and planting vegetables in the beds. One of the beds is wheelchair accessible, and the garden serves as a teaching opportunity for the residents of the group home as they learn.
