Do you know someone already Catholic but has not yet received Confirmation & Communion? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a place to ask questions and seek understanding. The St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Mary Queen of Peace, Holy Redeemer, and Annunciation Parishes will sponsor a Walk For The Poor on Saturday, September 30. This walk is part of a national effort to reach out to the poor. It will take place at the Nerinx Hall High School track at 9:30 am, with registration at 9:00 AM. Our walk will cele brate our parishes’ work with the poor and we invite you to “Walk a mile in the shoes of the poor.” Pope Francis continues to ask us to “Work for the Poor.” Here is a way to join with neighboring parishes in this effort.
