Matsiko World Orphan Choir will be singing at MQP on July 23 at the 9:00 & 11:00am Masses.  The choir represents the millions of orphans and at-risk children in the world today. The mission of International Children's Network is to provide as many of our world's 600 million orphaned and at-risk children sponsorship for a complete education through their nation's highest university or vocational levels. In case you have not heard, our parish has a Welcoming Committee. We visit each newly registered parish member, welcome them, give them a goodie bag and serve as a resource for them.  We are looking for a few new members to volunteer for this committee. Pray For the Sick

Many have asked why names of the sick are no longer read during the petitions at Mass.  Please join our Prayer Ministry by logging into Flocknotes.  Click on the "person" icon then the "groups" tab and choose "Join another group".  Add "MQP Prayer Ministry" to your groups.  You'll get an occasional email with names of those who are ill or homebound and would love your prayers.  Also, if you or someone you know would like to be added to the list, please email Mary Ann Zimmerman at mazimmerman@mqpwg.org

Thank You from SVDP

The MQP SVDP Conference wants to thank all those who helped make our clothing, furniture, & household items drive a great success. We were able to fill two trucks with furniture & two additional trucks with clothing, household items, etc. The clients served by our Conference will benefit from the credits we receive from SVDP for future use in the SVDP Thrift Stores.

Youth Ministry News

Our new Director of Youth Ministry, Andrew Shipp, will begin at MQP on August 9.. So watch this space in the weeks and months to come as Andrew shares plans for our Youth Ministry, including Life Nights, Prayer Nights, XLT, Fall Retreat, Luke 18, and other events.  There is no 5:00pm Sunday Evening Life Teen Mass or Life Night during the summer months, but Sunday evening Mass will begin again on September 10, and on the 2nd & 4th Sunday evenings of every month.
