Monday, June 18, 2018 MQP Cafeteria Go online to redcrossblood.org (sponsor code: MQP) to schedule an appointment or call Trish Goldberg, 540-3305. As always your home made cookie awaits you! The Red Cross must collect more than 13,000 blood donations every day for trauma victims, cancer patients and those depending on routine transfusions. With many donors vacationing and schools that host blood drives on break, summer is an especially difficult time to collect enough blood donations to meet patient needs.

New MQP Eagle Scout

Boy Scout Troop 335 would like to acknowledge Tyler Ridgway for earning Eagle Rank on February 28, 2018. This is the highest honor in Scouting and a true accomplishment. For his Eagle project, Tyler led a group of scouts to build a lending library and a bench for L'Arche and their new home in Maplewood. L'Arche St. Louis is a dynamic, faith-centered community of people with and without intellectual disabilities sharing homes and life together. Congratulations!

Congratulations to MQP parishioner Stephen Schumacher who was ordained a Transitional Deacon at the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica by Archbishop Carlson on Saturday, May 5. Deacon Stephen Schumacher assisted and preached at the 9:00am Mass on Sunday, May 6 at MQP, and a reception followed in the School Cafeteria. Please keep him and his classmates in prayer as they prepare for the Ordination as Deacons next month and as they continue their preparation to be Ordained Priests in 2019!
