Pull'n for the Poor!

Buy some delicious pulled pork and help our neighbors in need at the same time!  Pull'n for the Poor is a pulled pork fundraiser that benefits the Society of St. Vincent De Paul. This parish led group of men and women minister to the poorest folks in and around our community and need our support throughout the year. The way P4P works is that we sell pulled pork by the pound. To minimize waste, this is 100% pre-order only. The cost is $15/pound. On Sunday November 17th, come to the MQP Cafeteria between 10 AM and 1 PM and pick up and pay for your order. 40 Days for Life - Nov. 3

The MQP community will be one of many cities from coast to coast joining together for the 40 Days for Life campaign. 40 Days for Life is an intensive effort designed to raise awareness, save lives, bring healing, and lead our nation to repentance for the sin of abortion. Our contribution is 7 hours of prayer at the Planned Parenthood on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 12 pm to 6 pm. Sign up for a one hour shift here .

Don't Feel Like Cooking?

MQP Cub Scout Pack 335 will be selling hand made cheese and pepperoni pizzas after the 9 am and 11 am Masses on Sunday, Nov. 3. Pizzas are $10 each and sold fresh but wrapped to freeze. Proceeds go to MQP Cub Scout Pack 335.

Our parish family of Mary, Queen of Peace invites you and your family to a special Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, November 2, at 5:00pm at Mary, Queen of Peace Church.  This will be Sunday Mass with our parish community, but also a special time for us to remember and pray for those who have died, especially those who have died in this last year.  You are invited to bring a picture of your loved one who has died and to place it at the Shrine of Our Lady or St. Joseph in Church; you may keep this picture in our Church during the month of November.
