Eucharistic Adoration - Monday

February 11, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, is observed as World Day of the Sick.  On Sunday, February 10, at the 11:00 am Mass, our parish will offer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick for those who are elderly, seriously ill, or anticipating surgery.  If you would like to receive this Sacrament of Healing, please attend.

Blessing of the Throats

A Blessing of the Throats for St. Blaise Day will be offered after all the Masses the weekend of Feb. 2-3. Little is known about St. Blaise, but it is believed that at least one miracle is attributed to him: that a mother pleaded for Blaise to cure her son who was dying from a fish bone lodged in his throat. Blaise prayed over the boy, and the child was healed.

The 50+ club will have their annual Valentine's Day party on Friday, February 8th at 6:00 at CJ Muggs. The cost is $16 a person. Please send your check made out to MQP and mail to Mary Ann Zimmerman, 528 Clif-Side Ct., 63122. If you have never come to an event then now is the time. This is not just for couples. Bring a friend or two. We would love to have you.

Grief Group - January 21

Our grief group will resume on Monday, January 21 at 6 pm in the Msgr. Lubeley Room in the lower level of the rectory. If you or anyone you know has suffered a loss recently, or even a year or more ago, we would love to have you attend. You do not have to be a parishioner or even Catholic to come. We provide a unique group environment to connect with others who also suffered a loss. Hospice social workers lead the group. For more info contact Mary Ann at mazimmerman@mqpwg.org.

Christmas Decoration Drop Off

The MQP Women's League is hosting its annual Christmas Decoration Drop Off Saturday, January 19th from 9am-12pm in the Msgr. Lubeley Room. The MQP Women's League will happily collect all new or gently used Christmas decorations for their 2019 Christmas Past Booth at the Fall Boutique. ALL proceeds from this booth help fund two 8th grade scholarships awarded by the Women’s League each year.
