Sign Up for 40 Hours of Adoration

Looking for a way to start your Lenten journey? Please join your MQP family in our 40 hours of Adoration!  Thursday, February 15 at 4 AM through 8PM on Friday, February 16. Please consider spending time with Jesus either alone or with a group. We are currently looking for adorers for all hours. Some of these hours are sponsored by a parish group but this by no means excludes you from joining in on that hour. Our Pastor, Fr. John Vien, will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood this Tuesday, January 16.  All are invited to celebrate with Fr. John and his family and friends at the 11:00am Mass next Sunday, January 21 here at Mary Queen of Peace in thanksgiving for the gift of his priesthood and ministry.  A reception will follow the Mass in our School Cafeteria.  Ad multos annos, Fr. Young Families Winter Picnic

Sunday, January 28 4:30-6:30 pm Join us in the MQP Gym for food, fun, and fellowship.  The Young Families group invites you to participate in this annual event complete with BBQ, drinks, and plenty for the kids to do to burn off some energy.  All families with children infant to kindergarten (and their older siblings) are welcome.  This is an auction fundraising party with a suggested donation of $25 per family.  You can pay at the door.   Rsvp via Evite or to jenniferhulsen@yahoo.com so we know how much food to prepare.

Youth Ministry News

Life Teen Mass will resume Jan. 7, 2018. It will be every Sunday during the month of January and February at 5:00 pm followed by Life Night from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm in the Msgr. Lubeley room. March for Life January 2018 For more information on attending the March for Life in Washington D.C. please reach out to Andrew Shipp. Scripture on Wednesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm in Andrew's office: school room 206. All high school aged teens are welcome to join as we look and discuss the upcoming Sunday's readings. This has been a fruitiul experience and helps enhance the Mass going experience!

Hospitality Sunday Help Needed

Do you like donuts? Do you enjoy sharing fellowship after mass? If so, here is a super easy way to contribute to our parish:  we need help to make Hospitality Sundays work. It is so easy and only takes 30 minutes or less right after mass.  All you have to do is leave mass before the rush and get to the cafeteria, then put out donuts, pour drinks and help tidy up at the end.
