Stewardship Committee
Stewardship is a loving response to our faith. It is a necessary expression of what we say and believe. It is a lifestyle that places God at the center of our lives, living as God intended for us as disciples and stewards.
As stewards, we are looking at giving back to God in three different ways:
TIME – we can pray to God every day, especially thanking Him for the many gifts and blessings He has bestowed upon us.
TALENT – participate in a ministry that you feel called to.
TREASURE – generously return a portion of the money you have been given by the grace of God to church, nonprofit organizations and causes dear to your heart.
The purpose of Stewardship Committee is to educate, motivate, and encourage our parishioners to respond to God’s love by freely sharing the gifts He has given each of us. To accomplish this objective, the committee will work with through the ministries of the parish to integrate the spirit of stewardship into all areas of parish life.
“At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.”
Saint (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta
