The Parish Finance Council is a consultative group that assists the pastor in the execution of his parish financial management responsibilities. The Finance Council reviews budgets and financial reports to help ensure that archdiocesan fiscal and accounting procedures are being followed, and assists the pastor in developing strategic plans regarding parish resources.
SEEKING FINANCE COUNCIL MEMBERS!
The parish Finance Council is composed of parishioners who advise and assist Fr. John and our Business Manager, Sue O’Leary, on the parish finances, budget, and physical plant. The Finance Council meets about 8 times a year to review the financial statements, budget items, capital projects and to make recommendations to the Pastor and Business Manager about best practices in finance and stewardship. We are currently looking to expand the membership of the Finance Council, and are looking for parishioners willing to serve, especially those people who have training and a background in finance, budgets, banking, buildings and grounds, human resources, supply chain, logistics, planning, or other related fields. If you are interested, please be in touch with Fr. John at firstname.lastname@example.org
