Organization Mission

Troop 335, chartered by Mary Queen of Peace Parish, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2003, making it one of the most tenured organizations in our parish.

The objective of the Boy Scout Program is to build character in boys from ages 11 to 18. This is accomplished through outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, and advancement which is based on skills learned, leadership and service activities. Boys outside the Parish are welcome.

The Program requires many adult supporters. In addition to those who work directly with the boys, such as Scoutmaster, Camping/Hiking Chair and Advancement Chair, there are other essential jobs that need to be filled, for example: fund raising, treasurer, religious coordinator, transportation and non-camping activities.
