On Monday, we suffered the loss of three of our parish members – Mrs. Cathy Murch and her 11 year old son, Mitchell, and 9 year old daughter, Mary Claire – through tragic circumstances. We pray for them, and especially for Mitch, the husband and father, at the loss of his family.

Here are the prayer opportunities and funeral arrangements:

+ Rosary outside under the church portico as usual on Thursday at 9pm. (Hopefully we overflow across the front of the church as we pray for the Murch family.)

+ Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (First Friday) – 8:30am Friday till 7pm; then 7:30pm to 10pm. (Come and pray for an hour or five minutes for the Murch family.)

+ Wake for the Murch family – private for the family.

+ Prayer Vigil for the Murch Family – 7pm Friday, at MQP, for the MQP Parish Family and anyone else who wants to pray for the Murch family and for our own children and parents in this time of grief.

+ Funeral Mass at the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica on Lindell Blvd., 10am, Saturday. Everyone is invited to join the Murch family in prayer and worship.

+ Christian Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

+ Funeral luncheon for all at MQP Parish Center (gym) – after 12 noon at least, on Saturday.
