On Sunday, May 6, we will host a very talented St. Louis composer at the 9 AM Mass. Richard Wapple was the composer in residence at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, and has had his music performed by excellent choirs and orchestras here and abroad. His highly acclaimed setting of "Panis Angelicus" was commissioned for the Pope's St. Louis visit in 1999. He will bring with him a violinist and cellist, and will provide extended music before and after Mass. Our own MQP Chorale will sing some of his music during the liturgy. If you enjoy beautiful music at Mass, make plans to be there.
